Registro Profesonal de Tenis

Education worldwide

The Registro Profesional de Tenis (RPT) is a world-leading organization dedicated to the education, certification, and professional development of tennis coaches.

Founded in Spain in 1989 by Luis Mediero, the RPT has certified over 27,000 coaches in 131 countries and has trained more than 80,000 professionals through its educational programs.

As a subsidiary of the International Coaches Institute (ICI), the RPT offers a comprehensive training system based on the TETAFIME model, which covers the Technical, Tactical, Physical, and Mental pillars, with the goal of reaching the "Ideal Competitive State." Its certification programs are internationally recognized, including official endorsement by the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET).

Beyond its educational focus, the RPT promotes tennis at all levels by organizing events, tournaments, and activities for amateur players. One of its flagship initiatives is the RPT – MARCA by Wilson National Circuit, which has been a key platform for junior tennis development in Spain since 1996, with more than 50,000 participants in the Under-12, Under-14, Under-16, and Under-18 categories.

The RPT also provides its members with an international professional license, access to a global job board, continuous education programs, and support with visa and work permit applications. With a strong presence in Europe, the Americas, and Asia, the RPT remains a global benchmark in tennis coach education.
