The International Coaches Institute (ICI) is a premier global organization dedicated to the education, certification, and professional development of sports coaches across various disciplines, including tennis, padel, golf, fitness, and pickleball.

Since its inception in 1989, ICI has trained over 130,000 coaches and boasts a network of more than 65,000 certified professionals operating in 131 countries

ICI operates through specialized Professional Registries tailored to each sport:

  • RPTennis (Registry of Tennis Professionals)

  • RPPadel (Registry of Padel Professionals)

  • RPGolf (Registry of Golf Professionals)

  • RPFitness (Registry of Fitness Professionals)

  • RPPickleball (Registry of Pickleball Professionals)

These registries provide structured educational programs, international certifications, and comprehensive services to coaches and their teaching centers

A cornerstone of ICI's methodology is the TETAFIME model, which integrates four key pillars—Technical, Tactical, Physical, and Mental—to help coaches and athletes achieve an "Ideal Competitive State." This holistic approach is applied not only in sports but also in corporate settings through the "Corporate Athlete" program, which has trained over 15,000 senior managers worldwide to enhance performance and well-being .

In the realm of tennis, ICI's affiliate, the Registry of Tennis Professionals (RPT), has certified over 27,000 coaches and trained more than 80,000 tennis professionals globally. The RPT is recognized by several esteemed organizations, including the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET), underscoring its commitment to high-quality coach education and development .
