PTCA South East Europe

PTCA South East Europe is a regional group of the Professional Tennis Coaches Association (PTCA), dedicated to enhancing coaching standards and fostering professional development in countries such as Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Serbia, and neighboring nations.

Under the leadership of Marcos Baghdatis, a former world No. 8 and Australian Open finalist, PTCA South East Europe aims to bridge the gap between elite playing experience and high-level coaching expertise.

Baghdatis brings a wealth of knowledge from his professional career and his subsequent roles in coaching and player development. His involvement with the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA) as an ambassador underscores his commitment to advocating for players' rights and welfare.

In his role with PTCA South East Europe, Baghdatis focuses on implementing comprehensive coaching education programs, certification standards, and mentorship opportunities. These initiatives are designed to equip coaches with the necessary tools and knowledge to develop the next generation of tennis talent in the region.

Through this leadership, PTCA South East Europe strives to elevate the quality of tennis coaching and contribute to the growth of the sport across the southeastern European landscape.
