The International Tennis Coaches Hall of Fame (ITCHOF), established in 2013 by the Professional Tennis Coaches Association (PTCA), honors exceptional tennis coaches who have made a lasting impact on the sport. Supported by the Professional Tennis Players’ Association (PTPA) and other leading global coaching institutions, ITCHOF recognizes the essential role coaches play in the development of players and the sport as a whole.
The Hall of Fame has its permanent home in Monte Carlo, a historic location closely tied to international tennis. However, induction ceremonies are held in different prominent venues around the world, reflecting the global reach of the coaching profession and the international contributions of the honorees.
In 2024, the Hall of Fame ceremony was held in Seefeld, Tyrol, Austria—a region known for its alpine tradition and tennis excellence. That year, a distinguished group of international tennis figures was celebrated for their achievements both on and off the court. Inductees included Juan-Carlos Ferrero, Emilio Sanchez, Antonio Martinez-Cascales, Luis Mediero, Anders Järryd, Carl-Axel Hageskog, Henrik Holm, Peter Lundgren, Sven Groeneveld, Ronnie Leitgeb, Gebhard Gritsch, Barbara Schett-Eagle, and Peter-Michael Reichel. These individuals have contributed to the sport through their coaching, leadership, and inspiration across generations of players.
ITCHOF continues to recognize and celebrate the global coaching community, honoring individuals whose work has shaped the direction of tennis. Each induction serves not only as a moment of recognition but also as a reminder of the dedication, expertise, and influence required to coach at the highest level. Through its ongoing efforts, the International Tennis Coaches Hall of Fame preserves the history, excellence, and spirit of coaching that drives the game forward.
